3.3  Submission - Slower Personal Laps
Laps submitted that are slower than the user's personal best times listed on Hotshoe Listings, will be ignored and discarded by the system.

Notes:
The Hotshoe System will compare your newly submitted laps before overwriting your old laps. If the lap is slower than your currently listed best time, your previous (faster) lap will remain on the system, and your slower lap that was just submitted will be ignored and discarded without affecting your current personal records.

4.1  Lap Legality - Requirements
At least 1 wheel must always be on the track at all times throughout each corner to be considered valid. If there is less than 1 wheel touching the track pavement in a corner, the lap is considered illegal, and will be removed upon reporting to the Hotlaps Administrator in the form of an official dispute.

Corner Exit Exemption
Users are allowed to take the exit of a corner wide, while remaining as a legal lap. Only during the corner exit you may fully attack the curbs and their marked outrun areas as long as the corner exit is not part of the next corner entry. During a wide corner exit, at least 1 wheel should be in contact with the curbs / marked outrun area.

Blatant Shortcutting
Users who choose to bypass corners entirely are considered illegal and will be removed with submission suspensions for Unsportsmanlike Behaviour.

Rails / Walls:
Rail Riding is not permitted. Contact with the walls will render the lap illegal, and will be subsequently removed upon receiving an official dispute.

Notes:
Track Pavement does not include the track curbs. At least 1 wheel on the track pavement at all times during a corner is strictly enforced. You can attack the curbs, just make sure 1 wheel is touching the track pavement.

See 6.1 Disputes for further information on filing a dispute.

6.1  Dispute Policy
All disputes regarding current Hotlaps should be sent to the Hotlaps Administrator for review. In the event of a dispute over the validity of a ghostlap submission, the Hotlap Administrator has final authority. Any ruling by the Hotlap Administrator is to be deemed final.

Notes:
Please ensure that a lap has an obvious discrepancy and explain the exact location of the alleged infraction.
