The final of Megane Trophy event was lining up to be a fight to the end for MaxMotus and McMillan. These 2 have been fighhting hard throughout the season. McMillan recently robbed second in the points from MaxMotus. With the advantage 21 points McMillans was and some 80 behind Edwards, all chav needed was to qualify in top 5. However not n easy job when MaxMotus, McMillan, Chav, Zunik and VTW all fight for pole. VTW took pole position with the rest all close behind, but edwards in second had done enough. The race began with McMillan leading but shunting early on giving the advantage to MaxMotus from DJCruicky and Zunik. MaxMotus cruising to second in the championship then stacked it entering the chicane damaging the steering. DJCruicky took over the lead duties from a flying Zunik and J Utrilla. Now it was DCJ's turn to wreck and so Zunik popped up in the lead but with magno traction avoided the crash fest. MaxMotus limped home in second ahead of DJCruicky with his walking stick and McMillan in his wheel chair. MaxMotus stole back his silver trophy leaving McMillan a rusty one.... TI. Round 5 moves to Road Atlanta, the home of the world famous Petite Le mans. Edwards plan to extent his championship lead worked out extremely well after sending MaxMotus into the wall at T1 after a rubbing on the exit. MJanosh launched it off into turn 4 after touching the grass on the fast sweeping section. The race meanwhile hotted up withh DJCruicky, VTW, Yiannis HGT and Edwards. To say they were going at it wouldn't do them justice but with Edwards coming together with Yiannis HGT leaving the later with damaged steering forcing him into retirement. Edwards rejoined and gave chase setting fastest laps continually while closing in before taking victory from VTW and J-loo. McMillan also moved ahead of MaxMotus to second in the championship standings, even though he only managed 5th place. The final Megane Trophy event remains in the US, this time at Lime Rock sprint. Bahia qualifying proved another tough affair with Edwards, MaxMotus and McMillan fighting for the top spot. The latter 2 missing out by almost half a second and VTW stayinf very close too! The racing was going to be action packed with the middle pack being so close in qualifying, there was a 6 car sandwich between Edmeat and WillTrash with J-loo and Boboski lobbed in as some hot sauce! Meanwhile MadMuffin Maker looked after the dessert options! The Madmuffinmaker managed to skip the main course of serhanemre and Doctor-Q as he moved up the order! Edmeat also making some top progress to come home just behind McMIllan after his stop and go penalty. The early battle was between VTW and Chav up the front but with only a few laps gone MaxMotus had been fired off by Chav on his way to KFC and VTW was about to suffer from the backdraft! Unfortunately VTW had to suffer more pain with a few pitlane visits! McMilan took the winning time but with his late entry had to suffer a 30 second stop go thus dropping down the order after a stunning race time! Well done but unlucky! And so we move onto the next round at Road Atlanta where the twists and turns make this track a full on Roller Coaster! Let the action commence! TI. The Megane Trophy has just raced on the most challenging circuit so far at Birmingham. The Sprint track offers a great demand of not only driver but also the tail happy meganes. Pole position was set by MaxMotus, by 1 tenth from the hunting pack. The leading drivers all struuggling to keep their hardcore Renault Meganes on the ground during the qualifying shoot out. Sideways Fast took his second Heat victory from 3 races in commanding style at brum, still managing to squeeze in a few D1GP drifts for the crowds...! Meanwhile in Heat 1 McMillan set off like a scolded cat pulling a massive 12 second lead from Yainnis HGT while VTW and Frozen did battle infront of MaxMotus. With Frozan lauching it at the crowed MaxMotus slippped in behind Yainnis with VTW on his F1RST return holding forth. After Yannis HGT teleported to another land and MaxMotus stacked it VTW held 2nd. With 10 laps to go McMillan cooked his rubber and started to see his lead deminish as MaxMotus set a heavy pace to catch him. With 3 laps to go MaxMotus took the lead and VTW commenced mirror batterings with McMillan for 2nd. Chavwards jumped the 2 other runners in H1A at the start and set about setting a good clear race time while DJCruicky and sepreame chased him. Well another round of Megane Trophy is gone and more entertainment had. The Taupo Circuit created alot of DNF from the drivers over driving in the early stages and damaging there cars beyond there teams repair skills.... Tut Tut! TZB H1 had a very exciting opening stage with many of the drivers collecting each other in T1 and T2, thus leaving Edwards to jump straight from the back into P2 by the end of lap1! Very helpful in his plans to set a good Heat finish time! Heat 2 also had its fair share of crashing, martinwcox shot off to an early lead ahead of DJCruicky and SidewaysFast. MaxMotus soon moved into 4th after collecting the car infront who left the handbrake on at the start. MM said "Trashed the tracking before I even made it past the startline! Ideal for another 44laps!" After 4 laps martinwcox stacked it in T1 and SidewaysFast did it sideways into the pitwall, leaving MM to chase down DJCruicky. The Later started setting some quick laps in his defence of the lead. Frozen and Kubus had also set top ten qualifyin times only to end up in the wall before the race end. Yainnis-HGT also like MM dragged a bent car round for 40 some laps, which proved a nice move for both after the high number of retirements. McMilan managed to bring home a 2nd place behind Edwards after dodging the troubles of others to move him into 2nd in the championship, While WillTrash produced a good enough race time for 3rd place by the end. Now the series moves to Birmingham sprint and this will definitly create some action with its Roller Coaster style corners and long slip streaming straights! Let the action Roll on! Megane Trophy at Norisring has proved a massive success... The crowds called it "Amazing Entertainment" and thr drivers called it "Challenging". The team Mangers have called it "expensive" as many cars came back with plenty of close racing battle scares!! TZB Heat 3 proved a grilling battle of fastest laps between Sidways_fast and chacal. The pressure eventually getting to the later when he spun. Leaving the charging SF to move from 27th in qualifying to 10th by race end! A performance like that should net him a TZB H1 start block next time out! Whilst the grid orders had been reflected after qualifying some drivers had still to go hard even if they found them selves near the front for starters. The Mirrors were flying in Heat 2 as serhanemre manged to keep it clean and head home sixth. However Speed_10 suffered and thus dropped 2 places by the flag. DJCruicky popped up a few places in Heat 2 whilst Heat 1 early pole sitter Yiannis-HGT had a mad race falling right down the order after a pitstop. The Dutch effort also took a beating when killing_attack was attacked and killed by Ricardo at the last hairpin. Unfortunatly Ricardos tracking was out after a previous wall riding and he was unable to stop. The Victory in the end fell to MaxMotus after challenging Martinwcox in the early laps and then pulling a small lead. Edwards pushed hard reducing the gap as MM's tyres cooked after his early dice. While Kubus topped the podium even after rubbing mirrors with Chavwards.
