Following the post in the recent thread, action has now been taken.

Team sizes are now capped at 10 drivers. Teams have had the last 2 weeks to prepare for this by preparing 2nd teams before the deadline this weekend.

All points have been recalculated since the start of the F1RST Leagues, according to drivers in their present teams.

This will undoubtable change the rankings, but hopefully the majority will be happy that team sizes cannot grow huge now.

Any Teams that did not reduce their size to 10, has simply lost the lowest scoring drivers in that team. This could have had the positive result as any drivers with -ve points will now be cleaned from your Team points if you lost that drivers.

Its aboltuely impossible to verify the new figures and its highly unlikely any changes can be made, so we are relying on the Automation system fully for this event.

Hope its all accurate and everyones happy :). Doubt it though.

Its now possible to switch Admin access to another driver in your teams.

Use it carefully ! There will be no confirmation you want to proceed, and as soon as you do it, the old admin wont have admin access to the team anymore.

It is now possible to update your team registration information (Name, Email, URL)

You will see a new panel in the Manage Team pages to do this.

Drivers points gained for their current teams are now available when viewing a Team (by selecting the team from the Listings page).

Furthermore Drivers are ordered in their team by their points, so now u can easily see who is performing well (or not) in their team.

As you will probably be aware now, the Teams Listings page has been upgraded to a Listings/Rank page.

All team points from every league will be accumulated to form the ranking system. So the more leagues you and team mates join, the more points you will score for your overall Rank.

Slightly prematurely, but the Team Point allocations for previous races have now been recalculated.

The Team standings in the leagues now reflect point gained by all drivers since the start of your League schedule for all existing drivers in your teams.

This has reordered some of the Top 5 Team listings, and gives us now an accurate indication of a Teams performance.

Lets try to keep the Team system honest and clean, and then we can go forward instead of repeating recent events.

Just to make sure that last news point was FULLY understood, and to make sure this has not happened in other teams without drivers knowledge...

All teams have been deleted, and all team points are gone from the previous races.

Better do this now, before teams become well established, and start to gain many points.

It will still be possible to regain your team points from previous races from the drivers that are in your teams. This point allocation will happen again (as it did when the original team formations were done) next weekend on the 6th December 2003.

Reform your teams WITH THE DRIVERS THAT WANT TO BE IN YOUR TEAM. NO-ONE ELSE.

Do you want to leave a team, but the admin wont release you ?

There is a simple way out...

Create you own Team, and then Remove yourself from it in the Admin panel. You will then be an independant driver again who can join another Team if the admin wants you in.

The deed is done.

All existing Teams have been awared the points for their drivers for the past league races that have happened.

From now on points will be gained by racing in the league, and not recruiting new drivers.

The Top-5 standings on all League pages now are a valid representation of the Teams performance to the present date.

The Pre-Team point allocation that was promised on Saturday has had a test run Today.

You will now see in the leagues top 5 the top teams, according to all existing team drivers and their points gained in the corresponding league so far.

This allocation will be redone on Saturday as promised. After that teams will only aquire points by their drivers positions in future league races.

Attention all Team Drivers...

There will be a one off event in the history of leagues, which will happen on Saturday 22nd November 2003.

At the moment all teams are being created with 0 points.

On 22nd November each team will be allocated all the league points accumulated by Team drivers. Giving each team the points they would have earned if Teams had been in place since the start of the season.

You have until this deadline to create your Team and enrol your drivers, to claim points from your Team mates.

After this event, any new teams formed or any teams that enrol new drivers will not receive points from the drivers that join.

F1RST 2 Team Registration is now open.

Any drivers may Create or Join an existing team. A full description about F1RST 2 Teams can be found in the Teams section of the online Help Guide (When its Written !)

The current League sessions in progress (and all in the future) will now gain not only individual driver points, but Team points as well. Without going into huge detail, the top 5 scoring drivers in each league IN EACH SKILL, will gain points for their Team.

The Leagues have been update to show current Top 5 Team rankings, and Team Management/Profiles are available for the Teams Portal (i.e. here).

Future developments will include Global Team rankings based on points gained in ALL leagues, and extensive Team & Driver profiles, achived results, consistency comparisons.

Get your self organised, Setup your teams, enroll drivers and race for Team glory. Leagues are not only about yourselves now, they are about your Team mates too.
